Initially, we came to CDM with an open-ended ask for them to create an interactive map of the organizations, sectors, people, initiatives, and investments that make up BC’s vibrant technology ecosystem. Faced with a broad challenge and a short timeframe, the CDM team conducted user research to fully understand the target audience for this project and define a clear problem statement to deliver on by the end of term. Throughout the duration of the project, the team demonstrated effective and efficient communication internally, with their Microsoft Vancouver mentors, and with project stakeholders from the Cascadia Corridor.
